Last weekend Bobby and I visited my Grandparents in New Jersey where they’ve had a lake house for 40-some years and we had our own there before we moved as well! It was so great to be back and enjoy it! The big lake, farms, fishing, it’s so peaceful and beautiful!
There’s something about the lake that just makes me so happy! There are no worries there and I feel like it’s almost always sunny haha. I wish we had more time to go out there or even a place of our own, maybe with time we could get something between my brother and Bobby & I. I would love to find something we can rent for a few summers starting next year so our friends and we could go down (it’s only an hour and a half away) on the weekends or for long weekend vacations. There’s great skiing 25 minutes away too that we could do in the winter as well! It’s all kind of a win/win. We’ll see with time what happens with this little dream of mine!
Bobby came with me this past time and it was so excited for me to share this special place with him! I spent my summers there when I was little and learned how to swim and fish there! We would always play card games for hours and this time Bobby got to be a part of all of that and he loved it too! We’re already looking forward to the next time we can go back!
